One Direction's Harry Styles 'serious' about rumoured girlfriend Kendall Jenner

Harry Styles has his sights set on making Kendall Jenner a permanent fixture in his life, if the reports are to be believed. The teen idol and the supermodel were first linked in 2013 after they were spotted on a series of dates, however the blossoming romance appeared to go nowhere.

The pair has since rekindled their romance and was spotted in an intimate PDA that suggested they are more than just good friends, as they holidayed on a yacht in St Barts with their respective mums over the New Year period.

Now sources close to the One Direction singer insist that he is ready to settle down and that Kendall is perfect for him. An insider told Us Weekly: "He'd love to have a proper girlfriend. If she's [Kendall] keen to take it to a serious level, he would be too."

And apparently the feeling is mutual, with Kendall reportedly smitten. "They've sneaked around to meet in private. She really cares for him. He's the only guy for her."

A source told People magazine that Harry, 21, has always been keen on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and had been "waiting for a chance" to see Kendall, 20, again. "Harry also vacationed with friends, so it wasn't just a romantic vacation for Harry and Kendall. They had fun then, but things never got serious [before].

"He has thought all along that Kendall is hot and was sort of just waiting for a chance to spend more time with her again. New Year's worked out perfect, and he loved it. They will stay in touch and plan on meeting up soon again."

Another source added: "Now that he has a little hiatus and is on vacation, this is him trying to win her back, and it appears to be working. All of his friends were saying how hot and amazing she looked [at the Victoria's Secret fashion show]."

Harry Styles has had a string of high profile romances, including a very public break-up with one of Kendall's 'squad' Taylor Swift. The Trouble singer, who split with Styles in January 2014, after dating for two months, is said to be less than impressed that Jenner has fallen for Harry's charms all over again.

Meanwhile, fans of the One Direction heartthrob have been coming to terms with the idea that Harry is off the market. While some remain in denial, others have dismissed it as a 'showmance' orchestrated by Kardashian momager Kris Jenner. However, most have taken to Twitter to express their all-too real grief. "Look, Harry swimming in our tears", wrote one fan, summing up the general mood towards the new couple dubbed 'Hendall.'

And as new images from their holiday surface on social media, it seems that Harry at least, thinks he is 'perfect' for Kendall.
