Oscar Pistorius has been cleared of all murder charges in the death of Reeva Steenkamp, but may still be found guily of culpable homicide (manslaughter), the judge in the court case has said.

Judge Thokozile Masipa said: "The state has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder."

The judge did say that the conduct of Pistorius was "negligent," and has now adjourned the trial until Friday morning.
