Chelsea midfielder Oscar appears to have confirmed his side have completed the signing of Brazilian starlet Kenedy.

Jose Mourinho's outfit has arrived in Montreal for the start of their pre-season campaign with new signing Asmir Begovic part of the travelling squad and Radamel Falcao due to join up later in the tour.

While there has been no official announcement from the Blues, 19-year-old forward Kenedy is close to becoming the club's next recruit and was at the club's training complex at Cobham earlier this week, according to Metro.

Oscar has since posted a picture on Instagram of Kenedy, alongside his compatriot Ramires and Brazilian-born Diego Costa, with the message: "Welcome Kenedy, this new stage of your life."

According to the Daily Mail, Kenedy will cost the club a fee of £6.3m ($10m), having beaten Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus and Wolfsburg in the race for his signature. He becomes the club's fourth signing of the summer.

Chelsea have already secured the services of one Brazilian talent this summer – 19-year-old Nathan from Atletico Paranaense. The midfielder has already left the club on loan however, joining fellow Blues starlets Izzy Brown and Lewis Baker on loan at Vitesse Arnhem in Netherlands.

Chelsea's Brazilian contingent continues to grow at Stamford Bridge, a trend largely prompted by Oscar's arrival at the club from Internacional in 2012. Since his debut, Ramires, Willian, Brazilian-born Costa and Filipe Luis have become members of the Chelsea first team, with Lucas Piazon and Wallace also on the club's books.
