This is it... it's almost here... the biggest night in Hollywood's annual calendar of glitz and glamour - the 2012 Academy Awards.

The Oscars are undisputedly the premier film and entertainment awards in the country, recognizing brilliance both behind and in front of the camera, from all around the world.

There has, as always been tremendous amounts of build-up to the main event, with an analysis of the nominees, their performances, celebrity fashion styles and of course quotes and sound bytes.

The last big question - when and where can you watch the 2012 Academy Awards?

1) When does the awards ceremony start?

3) What channel will broadcast it live?

Answer - If you're in the U.S. tune into ABC. If you're in Canada tune into CTV. Finally, if you're in the UK, the Oscars will be screened on SKY Movies HD. The UK's coverage will be hosted and presented by Alex Zane and will also be telecast on SKY Movies Premiere. Coverage from the pre-ceremony show will start at 11:30 p.m., on Sky Movies Premiere and Sky Living and the main ceremony will air from 1:30 a.m. on Sky Movies Premiere.

4) Where are the awards happening?

Answer - The 2012 Academy Awards are being held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California.

5) Who will host the Oscars?

Answer - The 2012 Academy Awards will be hosted by actor and comedian Billy Crystal (his 9<sup>th time as host). Fellow actor Eddie Murphy was originally scheduled to host but he resigned at the last moment.

6) Who will present the awards?
