Following the 88th Academy Awards, the winners followed tradition by attending the Governors Ball to have their awards engraved .Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson and Alicia Vikander were among the actors in attendance, while fellow guests included Sam Smith, Steven Spielberg, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and Laszlo Nemes.

The first of three after-parties, coming before the Vanity Fair shindig and the Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party, the Governors Ball allows winners to bring their Academy Awards to the event, so that they can have engraved nameplates applied to their statuettes. We take a look at some of the highlights of the do.
