Chelsea will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the knockout stage of the Champions League clash at Parc des Princes on Tuesday.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 7.45pm GMT. Live coverage is on ITV 1 and UTV. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

PSG come into this game after a 2-2 draw against Caen at home in the last league fixture. The Ligue 1 winners gave away their two goal lead in the dying moments as the visitors managed to score two goals in quick succession to settle for the point.

The draw could prove costly in their run to defend the title and the clash also left Laurent Blanc with a depleted squad as PSG ended with nine men after five players Yohan Cabaye, Marquinhos, Blaise Matuidi, Serge Aurier, Lucas Moura picked up injuries in the same game.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have made it to the last eight of the Champions League six times in the last eight seasons. Jose Mourinho will be looking to extend his side's record this season and he is aware that a victory on Tuesday along with a clean sheet could help his side inch closer to the quarter finals of the competition.

David Luiz will face the Blues for the first time since leaving the west London club for PSG in the summer. With his compatriot Marquinhos' injury, he will partner Thiago Silva in the heart of the French outfit's defence.

Diego Costa will be a key player for the Premier League side and the former Real Madrid manager confirmed the striker is fit to face PSG.

What managers say

Laurent Blanc: "I know José Mourinho a bit, and I know he'll raise the temperature on the pitch in this game. So my players need to be cold, they need to be calm, and they mustn't react even when it is hot out there on the turf. They must stay calm and cold. We can't afford any more yellow cards. It's a real test for Marco, but I think he has matured and will cope with it."

Jose Mourinho: "The domination in France is there. They are: champions, champions, champions. They are in the league cup final, the quarter-finals of the French Cup and two points behind the leaders, so the domination of France is there."
