Peaches Geldof has announced that she is pregnant with her and her fiancé Thomas Cohen's first child.
The 22-year-old TV presenter and daughter of Rock legend Bob Geldof is said to be 'thrilled' about becoming a mother.
The mother to be has now joined the growing list of celebrities, including Beyoncé, Jessica Simpson and Stacey Soloman who are set to give birth this year.
Her spokeswoman released a statement saying: "Peaches Geldof and her fiancé Thomas Cohen are delighted to announce that Peaches is pregnant with their first child.
"Peaches is utterly thrilled and they have the full support of both their families who are equally excited for the baby's arrival." She added.
The news could not come at a better time for the young couple who revealed last month that they had secretly got engaged.
Geldof met rocker Cohen, who plays in indie band S.C.U.M, four years ago but they only began dating after they bumped into each other again in December 2009. The soon to be parents reportedly got engaged six months prior to making their announcement but chose to keep their engagement under wraps.
However, the model admitted last month that she wouldn't be rushing down the aisle any time soon following her failed marriage when she was 19.
Geldof got hitched to rock musician Max Drummey at a 'drive-in' Las Vegas ceremony in 2009 but the marriage was not to last and the pair called it quits after just six months.
