The 41st annual People's Choice Awards will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

The event will be aired live on 7 January at 9 pm EST on CBS.

The award ceremony can also be watched online through live streaming on the official website of People's Choice. Adding on, Ustream is also providing live coverage.

Mom co-stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney will host the three-hour event, and the night will include performances by Lady Antebellum, Iggy Azalea and Fall Out Boy.

Ben Affleck will be honoured as Favorite Humanitarian at the event for his work with the Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI), an advocacy group he founded in 2010.

"We are so pleased to honor Ben with the 2015 People's Choice Humanitarian Award," executive producer Mark Burnett said in a statement. "This award has become an important part of our show. It highlights a different side of a celebrity and helps bring awareness to a cause that our audience can support."
