Pregnant Caprice Set for 'Miracle Baby' Births, Thanks to Surrogate

Caprice Bourret has announced she is set to have two "miracle babies" within four weeks of each other after enlisting the help of a surrogate.

A month before the model turned lingerie designer gives birth, she and partner Ty Comfort will welcome a baby from a surrogate mother.

The 41-year-old star said that she and Comfort turned to gestational surrogacy after doctors warned her she was unlikely to conceive naturally. The couple have been together for two years.

She learned she was pregnant a month after finding out that the American woman acting as their surrogate had conceived.

"We are delighted," Bourret told the Sun. "I have always wanted a family but I didn't find the right person I could see myself spending the rest of my life with until two years ago.

"Our gestational carrier is part of my family now and I'm forever grateful for the kindness and selflessness she has shown us taking such good care of our beautiful little baby.

"Like every career woman I worked so hard at being successful I left it a little late," she added.

"But then to fall pregnant after our gestational carrier did was a miracle. My mum is so excited she has already bought enough baby clothes to fill a country."

The couple will raise the children in their home in Notting Hill, west London.

"We have found out the sex of both babies, but we're keeping it to ourselves for now," Bourret said.
