Pretty Little Liars Season 5

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 started with a major twist when Shana dressed as 'A' tried to kill Alison inside the Ezra family's old theatre.

But Aria saves Ali on time by pushing Shana off the stage and the liars thought that 'A' was dead.

Spoiler Alert: Read at Your Own Risk

Just when fans thought all 'A' centric questions had been answered during the first episode, a spoiling teaser by Tammin Sursok, who plays Jenna Marshall in the ABC Family's thriller drama, hinted at A being alive.

As if A wasn't trouble enough, the liars will now have to bear extra stress due to a 'twin sister' mystery.

"There's a lot of bad things that happen. We find out who 'A' is, and then it's not really 'A' and then someone has a twin sister -- I can't give too much away," said Sursok during an interview with Australian website The Daily Edition.

Sursok gave a lot away about her show and now fans know that A is alive and is preparing for her next deadly attack.

Meanwhile Ali is still unable to get over her mother Mrs DiLaurentis's death as she cannot find answers to why her own mother buried her alive.

Perhaps she was shielding her own blood from getting framed? Was it Jason DiLaurentis or his rumoured 'twin sister'?

Latin Times suspects that Jason, the love child of Mrs DiLaurentis and Mr Hastings, may have a twin sister who tried to kill Ali and is behind the camouflage of 'A'.

In the Season 4 finale flashback, Mrs DiLaurentis tries to convince Alison not to go to the sleepover at Spencer's house and stay safe at home because she knows 'things' about the Hastings family.

Ali's mother also gets an urgent call regarding 'someone' escaping custody. Latin Times suspects that Jason's twin may have severe mental illnesses which confined her to a mental asylum.

That could be the reason she's so envious of Alison, the prized daughter of the DiLaurentis, who has everything - beauty, popularity and friends.

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 4 'Thrown from the Ride' airs on 1 July on ABC Family.
