Emily, Aria, Spencer and Hanna made the biggest mistake of their lives in Pretty Little Liars by killing Dr Elliot Rollins in season 7, although it was an accident. They did manage to save Alison from her abusive husband, but their lives have turned to hell now.

Episode 3 of the Marlene King-created Freeform thriller featured Elliot's death and their troubles will begin in episode 4, wherein the girls will try to hide the truth by burying his body in the woods.

The episode titled: Hit and Run, Run, Run; will air on 12 July on Freeform at 8pm EST. Click here to watch the show live (only in the US) on the network's official website.

According to the official synopsis, the liars will try to cover the tracks of the crime, but the repercussions will filter into their personal lives. Alison will go back to the mental institution and this time, she will be forced to depend on her aunt Mary Drake for her release. It remains to be seen, how Mary plans to torment her further to avenge Charlotte's murder.

The episode will mark the return of Jenna Marshall to Rosewood, who is back to attend Toby's wedding. In a promo, she has an awkward encounter with the liars and even informs them about her plans to meet Alison at the institution. Jenna was last seen in season 5 in the episode titled, How 'A' Stole Christmas.

Her return is set to bring more cat-fights to the show as her former foe Mona (Janel Parrish) is still in town and is eager to support the liars as they attempt to get rid of Uber A by searching for Charlotte's killer. Parrish has teased a "very, very tense" reunion for Mona and Jenna in the upcoming episode.
