Pretty Little Liars season 7
Pretty Little Liars season 6 finale introduced Jessica DiLaurentis' identical twin Mary Drake as the new antagonist of the show Freeform

The Pretty Little Liars season 7 premiere episode synopsis is out and it appears Hanna's fate still hangs in the balance. Her friends need to hurry to save her from the new masked villain who has terrorised the liars.

Episode 1 of Freeform's mystery thriller is titled Tick-Tock, Bitches and here is the official description for the same:

After Hanna's shocking abduction by "Uber A," the PLLs and company desperately race against the clock to save one of their own. The only way to do this is by handing over evidence of Charlotte's real murderer to "Uber A." In order to do so, the girls must decide what blatant lines they are willing to cross that they have never breached before; and once they cross that line, there is no turning back.

Rosewood is still haunting Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily ever since they returned to the small town after five years. Contrary to their hopes of creating new and good memories at their very own place, the situation took a drastic turn with CeCe Drake aka Charlotte's murder in season 6.

As if that wasn't enough, Uber A started playing a cat and mouse game with the liars to find the killer. In order to unmask their tormentor, the liars decided to play a risky game but their trick backfired and Hanna was kidnapped by the new big bad of Rosewood.

Season 7 of the Marlene King-created hit original series will create a life and death situation for the girls as they need to find Charlotte's killer in exchange for Hanna's safety. Earlier, King has hinted at major revelations in almost every episode and hence fans can expect some explosive twists in Tick-Tock, Bitches.

For the liars, every problem begins with the Dilaurentis' house. And this time also there is no difference. But that doesn't give Alison any comfort as she was earlier trapped in a deadly plot by her aunt Mar Drake and husband Elliot Rollins.

PLL season 7 will premiere on 21 June on Freeform.
