It's official. The Australian people have well and truly fallen in love with the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall as they continue their second leg of their Pacific tour. All, of course, to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

After a 40degree heat arrival, Charles took centre stage in Melbourne yesterday showing off his newly learned tapestry skills at a state workshop. It's Camilla' first time in the country and the Duke and Duchess arrived to rapturous crowds, young and old, at Kilkenny Public School in Adelaide where Camilla seemed pretty much centre of attention. The country's love affair with her was in full flow today.

The pair made a brief stop for a spot of lunch with some students who cooked a special Royal pizza and salad meal for them both, which was enjoyed al fresco. All washed down with some of the region's finest wines

And then they greeted more crowds to walk lunch off and do the obligatory cooing at babies!

And not forgetting the opportunity at Government House to grab hold of the cute little animals for whom Australia is most famous. Let's hope these fellas don't leave the Duke and Duchess with a cheeky present!

The royal couple will fly back to Melbourne for the night, before flying to the island ofTasmania tomorrow.
