Cressida Bonas' family is still hoping she will rekindle her romance with Prince Harry Reuters

Cressida Bonas' family is reportedly unhappy with her relationship with actor boyfriend Edward Holcroft.

According to Daily Mail, the 25-year-old model's parents, 1960s model Lady Mary Gaye Curzon and Old Harrovian businessman Jeffrey Bonas, are still hoping she will rekindle her romance with Prince Harry.

"Cressida is upset with her parents because neither have met Ed," a source said.

"Cressie is really into Ed and desperately wants her parents to meet him and for them to approve. She has been giving them the full silent treatment," the insider added.

Reports that Cressida and Holcroft, who is well known for his role in the BBC2 miniseries Wolf Hall, are dating started after the duo attended the Wimbledon Tennis Championships together on 10 July.

"The thing that is so baffling is that there is nothing not to like about Ed. He's Hugh Grant handsome, has been singled out by Harvey Weinstein as the next big star, and is a fabulous actor with a great future," another source said.

"Usually they are very welcoming of Cressida's friends," the insider continued. "Harry spent quite a bit of time at Jeffrey's house in Norfolk. Mary and Jeffrey got on well with Harry. They approved of him."

Prince Harry, who has been voted among the world's most eligible bachelors, had previously dated Chelsy Davy. Later, he shared a brief fling with Jenson Button's former girlfriend Florence Brudenell-Bruce.
