Less than two weeks after the world watched him get married in Westminster Abbey, Prince William has saved a retired Hong Kong High Court judge who suffered a heart attack while out walking in Snowdonia.

Nick Barnett, 70, was flown to hospital by the prince, who is an air-sea rescue pilot in the RAF. After being rescued Mr Barnett expressed his thanks to all those who helped rescue him, including the prince.

Five other men have been assisted by Prince William in the last week, with a 46 year old who fell and may have injured his shoulder being picked up on Friday and four men being rescued on Wednesday after one of them got vertigo.
