Chelsea travel to Loftus Road on Sunday to take on Queens Park Rangers in a London derby that can have massive repercussions at the top and bottom of the Premier League.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 1.30pm BST. Live coverage of the game will be on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD.

Overview

Queens Park Rangers are on the rise after the international break, taking four points from their last two games, thrashing West Bromwich Albion 4-1 after the international break and drawing 3-3 against Aston Villa in a game they should have come out with three points.

Christian Benteke's equaliser in the 83rd minute poured cold water over Chris Ramsey's dreams of coming out of the bottom three, but the momentum should give them some much needed confidence against Chelsea, who have not been in great form off late.

The Rangers do not have a good record against the top sides this season at home or away and face a tall order to save themselves in the fight against relegation with Manchester City and Liverpool also primed to visit in the next few days.

However, an invigorating result against the league leaders would go a long way in instilling some belief into the squad, which is currently two points away from safety.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are cruising in the league, albeit with some luck, having seen Hull City and Stoke City claw back into the contest with the Blues having taken the lead.

However Loic Remy has developed a penchant for scoring important goals for Jose Mourinho's men with the Frenchman scoring both winners in the last two games to gather three six crucial points in the race for the title.

The Blues need 15 points in their next eight games to secure the title even if the rest of the teams win their remaining games and Jose Mourinho will be confident that his team has the firepower left to end the season on a high.

However, the former Real Madrid manager will be without Diego Costa, who is out for a month with a hamstring injury.

What managers say

Chris Ramsey: "It's a big game for us. They can afford to have a blip and still win the league but on the flip side, we need to pick up every point we can. We all know what it means to the supporters – at this stage, with what is at stake for both teams, and it gives it added spice. We know Chelsea have what it takes to grind out results, as well as taking their performances to another level. We just need to show the same grit and determination from the last two games. We are not writing ourselves off, the pressure is on us and we want to stay in the division."

Jose Mourinho: "We don't want to be influenced by anything. We are in a position where we can be isolated from everything. We don't have to be watching Manchester City against Manchester United. We just think about ourselves. I know [that City are playing against United], but I know the same as I know that Tottenham plays Aston Villa and Fulham plays Wigan. I know because I know, not because I am worried."
