Overview

Harry Redknapp knows there will never be a better opportunity to put one over City who are struggling to come up with a good performance both in Europe and in the league.

The London-based club have urged their supporters to be at their loudest at Loftus Road so as to unsettle City and claim crucial points, which will take them out of the drop zone. A win here will take QPR to 10 points, one above Crystal Palace and Leicester City and level on points with Aston Villa.

Manuel Pellegrini has to respond to questions related to his side's inability to do well in Europe, taking only two points from their last four group games. Their current form in the league has also not been exemplary, with their triumph against Manchester United their only big one in their last five games.

Pellegrini is under a lot of pressure following a series of poor performances in the last few matches played in all competitions. City have won only one of the last five matches and their only win came against 10-man Manchester United at the Etihad last Sunday.

The Chilean will be hoping that the Cityzens are able to bounce back against QPR and keep the pressure on Chelsea.

What Managers Say

Harry Redknapp: "They've got superstars and an amazing squad, but Loftus Road is a tight pitch and at home we can give anyone a game. The crowd will be important to us, if we can create a good atmosphere and try to put them under some pressure. We have to play with the same enthusiasm we had in the last few games and if we do the crowd will be with us and we have a chance."

Manuel Pellegrini: "It is difficult to progress in the Premier League when you won the title last year but we try to continue fighting for the title. I don't know if you can take some conclusions when you have to play 28 games more. It is a lot of games and we are just in November. It is difficult to recover physically and mentally in less than 72 hours from what happened on Wednesday but I want to see the same team we saw in the [Manchester] derby."
