Ahmad Givens
The Real Chance of Love reality star has been diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.

Ahmad "Real" Givens of VH1′s Real Chance of Love is reportedly battling colon cancer.

According to TMZ, the rapper-turned-reality star was recently diagnosed with stage IV of the disease, which has now reportedly spread to his lungs and liver.

The American Cancer Society says that in most cases surgery is unlikely to cure stage IV but that it can help a sufferer live longer and occasionally can cure the cancer.

Givens believed he had gone down with flu in January but doctors discovered that he had developed liver problems before they diagnosed cancer of the colon.

The radio personality and father-of-one is receiving treatment at LA's Cedars-Sinai Hospital, the same hospital where Lil Wayne was admitted earlier this month for seizures.

Fans and celebrities have flocked online to offer their messages of support for Givens.

Kim Kardashian's ex, Ray J, tweeted: "Just talked to 'Chance' - he told me to tell the world to pray for his bro 'Real'. He has stage 4 colon cancer. Pls send out a prayer for him."

Givens's family has set up a fund to raise money to help with his medical bills. Fans can donate to an account at Chase Bank, "Cancer Funds for Real", account number 407662563.
