Maicon and Robinho
Brazil international defender Maicon has been linked with a move to real Madrid.

Inter Milan defender Maicon has hinted he could move to Real Madrid, revealing that he will address transfer speculation after the Copa America tournament.

The 29-year-old has been continuously linked with a move to Madrid over the past year, and almost completed a €35m move last season only for negotiations to fall apart at the last minute.

"I am happy at Inter, but we will speak about Real Madrid and Inter after the Copa," he told Il Corriere dello Sport. "I want to win a trophy with Brazil and this is my only objective right now."

Neymar speculation

Meanwhile, Real Madrid transfer target Neymar has confirmed he will remain with Santos next season, ending months of speculation linking him with a move to Europe.

The Brazil forward has been linked with a £45m move to some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Just last week, Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro said the club was prepared to sell the 19-year-old if the release clause in his contract was triggered.

But over the weekend, Neymar moved to distance himself from transfer reports saying, "I have a contract that I intend to honour."

The player's agent reiterated his client's remarks saying, "In light of continuous speculation in the national and international press about the future of our player, I feel obliged to communicate the departure of Neymar is non-negotiable.

"Neymar is a media phenomenon known throughout the world. His talent for brilliant moves on the field is proportional to his charisma."
