Real Madrid will take on Chelsea in the pre-season fixture scheduled between the two sides for the International Champions Cup at the Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, on 30 July, Saturday.

The Champions League winners will be without the services of their star forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who played a key role in helping Portugal win the European championship. The former Manchester United man injured himself in the final and is currently recovering from that.

Zinedine Zidane's side played their first pre-season fixture when they took on Paris Saint-Germain. It was the Ligue 1 winners who came on top after they managed a 3-1 victory over the Spanish capital club.

Chelsea, on the other hand come into this fixture after a 1-0 victory over Liverpool. Gary Cahill's first half goal was the difference between the two sides as Jurgen Klopp saw his side suffer first defeat of the pre-season.

The clash between Chelsea and Liverpool saw the Blues midfielder Cesc Fabregas receive a red card for his harsh tackle of the Reds defender Ragnar Klavan. The former Arsenal captain apologised later for this incident.
