The UK premiere of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" by Hollywood director David Fincher was attended by the cast and crew at Odeon, Leicester Square, in London on Monday night.

The big budget movie is the screen adaptation of the first book in the best selling "Millenium Trilogy" by Stieg Larsson.

Hired to find a woman who has been missing for 40 years, disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist forms a partnership with computer hacker Lisbeth Salander, putting both their lives in danger.

It followed "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest," the other two sequels of the "Millenium Trilogy" which were made in to movies by Niels Arden Oplev in 2009.

Daniel Craig plays the journalist Mikael Blomkvist and Rooney Mara portrays the young computer hacker in "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright and Christopher Plummer are also having major roles in the movie.

The movie is scheduled to be released in cinemas from Boxing Day.
