Multiplatinum singing sensation Rihanna is the new face and body of Armani's autumn/winter underwear and jeans campaign, replacing current beauty Megan Fox.

The Barbados born star has not only become an icon in the music world, but also in the fashion capturing the attention of many established designer brands, Armani now being one of them.

Although no images have been released yet, the campaign has already been shot in New York and will launch in September.

Filling Megan Fox's shoes might sound like an impossible job for someone like you and I, but not for Rihanna whose curvaceous body is globally idolised. And judging from her recent Vogue cover spread she seems very muich comfortable, stating to Vogue

''I realized that I actually like my body, I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don't want to get rid of the curves. My body is comfortable, and it's not unhealthy, so I'm going to rock with it."

Rihanna also follows in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham, who has also modelled underwear for the label along with husband David for the men's campaign.

Of which the current male face is tennis player Rafael Nadal, however it has not yet been confirmed whether Nadal will be Rihanna's male counterpart in the campaign.
