Pop star Rihanna has reportedly been signed as the newest judge on X Factor USA.
According to celebrity website MediaTakeOut, the 24-year-old Bajan beauty has replaced pop princess Britney Spears, who was in the running for the job before negotiations fell through.
An insider told the celebrity gossip site that Rhianna jumped at the opportunity.
Other contenders included Beyoncé, Janet Jackson and Black Eyes Peas frontwoman Fergie.
Rihanna could find herself laughing all the way to the bank after her Roc Nation management apparently secured a contract worth $15m-$20m (£9.5-£13m) a year after tough negotiations with media mogul Simon Cowell.
If RiRi has secured the role, she will fill one of two seats vacated by Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and singer-dancer Paula Abdul after they were axed from the show.
