A robber wearing a goblin mask attacked a milkman before making a getaway in his delivery van.

Police said that the 55-year-old victim was making a delivery in Church Warsop, Nottinghamshire, in the early hours when he was approached by the offender.

Investigators said the attacker, thought to be about 6ft and of slim build, was wearing dark clothing and the grey fancy dress-style mask.

The stolen white milk float, which features the Dairy Crest logo in green and yellow, has not yet been traced.
