Overview

RCB and Rajasthan Royals are facing each other after finishing third and fourth respectively in the group stages. Virat Kohli's side were on course to finish second in the table, but rain played spoilsport in their last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The match was abandoned and a point was shared between the two teams, which allowed Mumbai Indians to move to the second spot. They will face league leaders Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1 on 19 May.

Meanwhile, Steven Smith's side qualified for the later stage of this year's IPL after defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in the final group stage fixture on 16 May. That win helped the Royals to finish in the top four.

A defeat for either of the sides on Wednesday will end their hopes of winning the 2015 IPL. On the other hand, a victory will see them face the losing side of Qualifier 1 on 22 May in the second qualifier.
