More embarrassment for the young British Royals as more private holiday pictures are splashed around the world. This time it is The Duchess of Cambridge's turn, as topless pictures of her on holiday, have been published by the French magazine closer.

The pictures were taken during the Duke and Duchess' holiday at the French chateau of the Queen's nephew, Lord Linley. And although the photos are blurry and taken with a long lens, they are clearly of the Royal couple. Kate can be seen topless in several shots, and it is these shots which have been used as part of the magazines four page spread.

Prince William and Kate who are on an official visit to Asia as part of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Tour were told about the magazine's plan to publish the photos during breakfast in Kuala Lumpur.

With the publication of these photos and the naked shots of Prince Harry just last month . Buckingham Palace will need to decide what, if any action to take, for this latest incident, and in the future. Could they pursue the magazine or the photographer through the French courts? And what of France's own strict privacy laws that protects high profile public and government figures from this same situation? Do these privileges only apply if you are French?
