The moment that millions of cricket fans worldwide waited for with bated breath finally arrived. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar scored his 100th century.

NDTV describes the proud moment as "Then the quintessential Sachin moment. Sachin took off his helmet looked at his bat, then heavenwards".

Sachin earned his 100 against Bangladesh during the fourth match of the Asia Cup. While at 99, the whole stadium was in silence to see the final run that would take the cricketing genius to his yet another miletsone. The Bangladeshi bowler, Shakib Al Hasan bowled and Sachin earned a run out of it with partner Suresh Raina.

Out of the 100 centuries, 51 have been taken in Tests and 49 from ODIs. It's not just about the 100th century for the man, but he also became the first batsman to score over 2,000 boundaries in One Day Internationals.
