"We're delighted to be able to introduce such a variety of apps so soon after the fantastic launch of the Galaxy Note 10.1 and can't wait to hear what our customers think of it," said Simon Stanford, vice president of telecommunications and networks at Samsung UK.

The new apps include Drop the Beat, Official Top 40 Chart app, Spot the Difference, Where is it, Trace-A-Face, Easy Phone Sync and more.

Easy Phone Sync will allow users to transfer the iPhone and iTunes media which includes music, videos, podcasts, pictures, contacts and text messages from the iOS to Samsung Galaxy devices.

"The S-Pen is so precise it's inspired a whole host of new apps and we believe it will change the way people use tablet devices. For example, the S-Pen makes it easy to edit photos with incredible accuracy on the device's large 10.1 inch screen using the embedded software, Adobe Photoshop Touch," Stanford adds.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 features a 10.1in PLS TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a Quad-core 1.4GHz processor and ships 2GB of RAM. It comes with internal storage variants of 16/32/64GB and a microSD card slot with an additional memory space of 64GB. It runs on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. The device packs a Li-Ion 7000mAh battery.

We reviewed the Galaxy Note 10.1 recently and enjoyed using the S-Pen stylus, although the screen resolution and plastic construction let down what is otherwise a great tablet.
