Samsung Galaxy S3 vs HTC One X: Battle of The Powerful Android Titans

Taiwanese mobile major HTC unveiled its HTC Ones Series at the Mobile World Congress 2012 event. The One series comprises One X, One S and One V. The company has taken the plunge in offering the best camera features as well as the sound quality in its latest smartphones. The HTC One X is the company's first quad-core Android smartphone.

On the other hand, the Samsung's next flagship smartphone, Galaxy S3, has been the most waited device which will be unveiled on 3 May. After the splendid success of Galaxy S2, its successor could come with more striking features which will make sense. The Galaxy S3 is expected to include a screen size ranging from 4.6in to 4.8in and a new five-column layout. According to the leaked official service manual, the Galaxy S3 could come with a 4.8in screen using a new type of Super AMOLED technology.

Processor
The HTC One X is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU and Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset. The Nvidia chipset reportedly delivers outstanding performance with faster browsing as well as hardware acceleration capabilities. It includes ULP GeForce GPU which delivers unprecedented mobile 3D game playability.

The Galaxy S3 will be powered by a 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor. It is the first quad-core processor of the Korean giant which delivers enhanced performance and allowing the users to complete multiple tasks in a short span of time.

The leaked official service manual and a leaked photo of Galaxy S3 suggest that the device could have a high-resolution camera. But earlier reports suggest that the Galaxy S3 may debut with an eight megapixel camera. It could disappoint tech fans who are eagerly waiting to get their hands on a smartphone with a 12 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Operating System

The HTC One runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) platform.
