The technical specifications as well as the benchmark performance of the Zoom variant of the Samsung 2014 flagship, Galaxy S5, have leaked.

There have been rumours over the past few weeks about the new variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5. This includes the Galaxy S5 Neo, Galaxy S5 Mini and the Galaxy S5 Zoom, what is otherwise known as the camera variant of the Galaxy S5 and a sequel to last year's Galaxy S4 Zoom. Rumour has it the the Galaxy S5 Zoom is already in the pipeline and is expected to see light of day soon.

The new leak comes from Sammobile which has exclusively published a number of screenshots revealing the technical features and the AnTuTu benchmark performance of the Galaxy S5 Zoom.

According to the disclosure, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom with model number SM-C115 will sport a 4.8in Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution at 1280 x 720 pixels. It will use the Samsung Exynos 5260 hexa-core processor with ARM's big.LITTLE HMP technology, which includes two 1.7GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores, while paired with quad-core ARM Mali-T624 graphics unit. Besides, the hexa-core processor will integrate 2GB RAM.

The new Galaxy S5 model will pack a 20.2 megapixel camera sensor having resolution at 5184 x 3888 pixels with camera technologies such as Optical Image tabilisation (OIS), Xenon Flash and 10x optical zoom. The device will also have a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera. It will support microSD card for additional space.

The Galaxy S5 Zoom will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of box with Samsung's latest TouchWiz UI and a clutch of camera features. It will offer Wi-Fi 802.11ac with the usual a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot and IR blaster for remote control access using Samsung's WatchOn service. It is expected to be NFC-enabled and offer Bluetooth v4.0 LE/ANT.

As seen in the screenshots the Galaxy S5 Zoom scored 33252 points in the AnTuTu benchmark, which makes the device faster than the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One (M7). However, the benchmark is based on the early software builds, which might differ with the final software version.
