Samsung Galaxy S6 reaches US: Pre-order deals and pricing

The high-end Samsung Galaxy S6, which was showcased in the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015), has now reached the US shores and is available on pre-orders.

Major wireless carriers in the US have officially confirmed that they will carry the Galaxy S6, and are now allowing potential buyers to pre-order the handset.

Where to pre-order from and what's the price?

From AT&T:

AT&T had earlier opened a pre-registration page, subscribing to which allowed prospective customers obtain first-hand information on the launch of Samsung Galaxy S6.

Buyers who like to directly pre-order the high-end smartphone from the carrier can navigate to AT&T's official pre-ordering portal.

Pricing:

For buyers who want to subscribe to wireless service contracts, AT&T is offering the Galaxy S6 at $200 on subscription to a two-year contract.

Alternatively, customers can also choose to opt-in to AT&T's Next installment plan, subscribing to which buyers can purchase the smartphone by paying equated monthly instalments of $22.84 for 30 months.

An off-contract Samsung Galaxy S6 costs a whopping $685, to buy from AT&T.

The above prices are applicable to the 32GB variant of Galaxy S6.

AT&T also has the 64GB variant of the smartphone up for pre-order, and the price starts from $300 with contracts. Customised AT&T installment plans are also available.

An unlocked 64GB Samsung Galaxy S6 costs $785.

A 128 GB Galaxy S6 variant is also available for pre-order from AT&T. Prices are as follows:

With two-year contract: $400.

Under AT&T Next instalment plan: $29.50 per month for 30 months.
