A Korean website has leaked another important feature that can be expected to come either packaged along with the Samsung Note 8 or sold separately – a pair of wireless earphones similar to Apple AirPods. According to reports, they will work with Bixby, Samsung's version of the personal assistant.

The earbuds are expected to have noise cancelling technology that can identify the user's voice even when the ambient noise is high.

The report quoted an unnamed Samsung official as saying, "If the Bluetooth earset is launched, (it) will be a great addition to the convenience of smartphone users."

The Samsung Note 8, slated to be released on 23 August this year, is one of the most anticipated products as far as Android phones are concerned.

The phone has a lot of image-rebuilding to do after the debacle with the Note 7, which in spite of being one of the best-reviewed devices of last year, severely dented Samsung's legacy.

Expectations are high for the Note 8 with extensive coverage over what will be Samsung's most expensive phone ever and a direct competition for the rumoured iPhone 8. The phone is likely to cost around £900 ($1,100).

Popular Twitter leakster /Leaks (@slashleaks) revealed a rendered image of the front face of the phone and it looked like a typical Note, with all of Samsung's best tech like the stylus and the dual curved screen.

The tweet was followed a few days later with a complete render.

And was then followed up by a picture of what seems to be the S Pen.

It remains to be seen whether the new Note, along with all its accessories, will help Samsung regain its lost credibility in the phablet market.
