Will fans witness an 'NSync reunion on SNL40? snl/facebook

First the Backstreet Boys and now 'NSync? Looks like Justin Timberlake and the rest of the members of the popular 90s boy band might just reunite for an appearance on Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special.

The boy band's official Twitter wrote today, "Together again... Gee, it's good to be together again." The tweet was hashtagged #SNL40, the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special that is set to air on Sunday, 15 February on NBC, reports Rolling Stone.

As per the report, former 'NSync member and one of SNL's host, Timberlake, was among the initial wave of actors and musicians that joined the special. He last reunited with his boy band mates when he was given the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

One more big hint suggesting an 'NSync reunion on SNL is a tweet by another member of the group - Chris Kirkpatrick who tweeted today that his "early flight to NYC was cancelled." So, maybe the singer is waiting for the next flight out to join his other band mates.

Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special airs tonight, 15 February at 8pm EST on NBC. The all-star guest list for the SNL special includes Bradley Cooper, Billy Crystal, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Arcade Fire and Jack White.
