Frankie Sandford and Wayne Bridge
The Saturdays' star Frankie Sandford shows off her engagement after accepting Wayne Bridge's proposal.

The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford is officially off the market after getting engaged to her footballer beau, Wayne Bridge.

The 24-year-old singer will be the third member of the group to walk down to the aisle, after she accepted the Manchester City player's proposal.

Sandford revealed her news on Twitter, telling her one million followers: "Guess what?!" and linking to an image which showed her pretending to gasp in shock as Bridge kissed her cheek. A huge diamond ring sparkled on her marital finger.

The couple began dating in December 2010, just two months after Sandford ended her relationship with McFly bassist Dougie Poynter.

Her timeline has been inundated with congratulatory message from fans and celebrities.

Pregnant bandmate Rochelle Humes, who married JLS star Marvin Humes last summer, welcomed Frankie to the 'wifey club', tweeting: "Big congratulations to @FrankieTheSats and Wayney. He did so well :-) and the ring is to die for in the flesh. Welcome to the wifey club xxx."

Vanessa White said: "Congrats @FrankieTheSats & Wayne! So happy for you guys. Woooooo xxx"

Bridge has found love again following his bitter split with French model Vanessa Perroncel, with whom he has a son.

The former Chelsea player made headlines in January 2010 after it emerged that Perroncel had allegedly had an affair with Wayne's then teammate John Terry.
