Scandal season 5 is on a 15-day break and will air its next chapter on 21 April. The official plot description of episode 18 titled, Till Death Do Us Part, hints at some major twists ahead especially after Olivia Pope beats Andrew Nichols to death.

Fans were surprised to see her remorseless attitude after she killed the former vice president and warned Abby to never cross her over. Later Fitz announced Andrew's death from an unfortunate fall and Quinn and Huck dropped her at her father Rowan's place.

But instead of resting at Papa Pope's house, the crisis manager will learn about the secret alliance of her father and Jake. The synopsis of the episode suggests that in order to stop the duo from their dangerous mission, Liv will make a "gut-wrenching" attempt.

Here is the synopsis of the episode: As Olivia deals with the aftermath of what she's done, she finally finds out what exactly Jake and Rowan are plotting. But with their plans already in motion, Olivia is forced to make a gut-wrenching attempt to try and stop it. Meanwhile, in flashbacks, we learn more about Jake's past and how he first got involved with B6-13.
