Selena Gomez Hands To Myself video: Singer gets into bed with Demi Lovato's leading man

Selena Gomez is seen like never before in the music video for her new single, Hands To Myself. The former Disney star strips down to her underwear and plays a stalker ex-girlfriend in the visuals, which features an appearance from a familiar face that fans of singer Demi Lovato may recognise.

In the visuals, which premiered on Apple Music, the 23-year-old breaks into her ex-boyfriend's plush apartment before undressing to reveal her lingerie. Clearly obsessed with her former love, the singer rifles through his wardrobe and smells his aftershave before running herself a bath. When the boyfriend, played by model Christopher Mason, arrives home and realises he has an intruder, he calls the police who find Gomez laying in his bed. Although all is not as it seems and viewers are in for a shock twist.

Gomez enlisted director Alek Keshishian, responsible for 1991 film Madonna: Truth Or Dare, to take charge of the visuals, while Los Angeles model Mason is no stranger to working on music videos having worked with Gomez's close friend Lovato on 2009 music video Here We Go Again. Praising his work with Gomez, director Keshishian tweeted: "Loved working with you @selenagomez - thanks for trusting me and being so amazing," while he added of Mason: "Happy to have worked with the next Brad Pitt."

Hands To Myself is the third single to be released from Gomez's second solo album Revival, which dropped in October and soared to number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, earning the singer her second chart-topper. The album has been supported by the lead single Good For You, which features A$AP Rocky and follow-up Same Old Love, which reached numbers five and six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart respectively.

Although Mason plays her on-screen love interest, there may be another leading man in Gomez's real life as reports are mounting that the Come & Get It singer is dating One Direction star Niall Horan. The pop stars have been seen together several times throughout December, including at the 35th birthday party of Channing Tatum's wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Los Angeles and the X Factor 2015 finale after party in London, although the dating rumours are yet to be confirmed.
