Semaphore (aka notcom) has just released a revamped or rewritten beta version of TinyUmbrella tool for OS X and Windows to facilitate iOS downgrading on 32-bit and 64-bit devices.

Semaphore has responded to author Jeff Benjamin in a recent tweet acknowledging that SHSH blobs can once again be saved for downgrading future iOS releases using the new TinyUmbrella tool, reports iDownloadBlog.

The existing downgrade methods no longer work as Apple has ceased signing older firmware while also removing support for using SHSH blobs with existing builds of TinyUmbrella. Hence, the revamped TinyUmbrella beta gains precedence among iOS downgrading tools.

Folks at iDownloadblog add that the new simplifed tool features a single button dedicated to saving the SHSH blobs, as evident in the screenshot (below) depicting several blobs saved for both iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.1.3:

Interested users can go ahead and download the new TinyUmbrella beta from the developer website, wherein the developer clearly mentions that he has already fixed the nasty race condition with the new build (8.2.0.13) of TinyUmbrella.
