All the latest football transfer rumors from Serie A. Reports claim that Manchester City have agreed a deal with Inter Milan to sell Carlos Tevez for a cut price fee but a deal will only go through in late August. Roma are said to be nearing a double transfer swoop after reports claim they are close to signing Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg and will make a £20m offer from Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli. Manchester United have been linked with a move for Roma striker Mirko Vucinic and Arsenal are said to be ready to rival Juventus for the signing of Porto left back Alvaro Pereira.

Reports in Italy claim that Manchester City has held talks with Inter Milan over the sale of Carlos Tevez. The long running transfer saga is set to continue into August after Sport Italia suggest that any deal will happen in the latter half of August, after Inter Milan have secured the services of both Wesley Sneijder and Brazilian defender Lucio.

Sport Italia claim that Marco Branca met with Manchester City officials to outline plans over the signing of Tevez. The newspaper claims a deal has been a greed which will see Manchester City slash their £50m valuation.

Mirko Vucinic claims to have held preliminary talks with Manchester United over a possible move for the forward. Vucinic has been linked with a move away from Rome all summer and Manchester United have emerged as surprise candidates to take the Montenegrin to Old Trafford. "The meeting with the leaders of Manchester United was yesterday," Alessandro Lucci told lasignoraingiallorosso.it. "It has only been a chat, in which no offers have been made nor was there an agreement sorted. The English club, however, really like Vucinic, but to see him with the shirt of the Red Devils, there is still work to do," he continued.

Roma are said to be ready to make a double transfer swoop for Mario Balotelli and Maarten Stekelenburg. Roma are said to be monitoring the Italian's situation at Manchester City after his latest bust up with manager Roberto Mancini. The Italian was criticised by his manager for attempting an extravagant back hell in a recent U.S tour match with LA Galaxy and was subsequently substituted.

With Manchester City ready to tie up a deal for Sergio Aguero and no real end in sight of the Carlos Tevez transfer saga, Mancini is thought to be willing to allow Balotelli to leave Manchester City. Roma are reported in the Italian media to be willing to offer Manchester City £20m for the controversial striker.

Roma are also said to be confident of securing the services of Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg. The Dutch goalkeeper is said to want a move to the Italian capital and his agent is confident a deal will be completed soon. "I am left with a very good feeling after the past couple of days. It's clear that Roma are willing to go far to sign Maarten ahead of the new season," Jansen told the Sport Promotion official website. "Ajax's vision on certain points was understandable to be honest. Roma had to think about Ajax's demands for a while and they've now made an improved offer. I hope and expect that the new bid offers Ajax the guarantees they were after," he added.

Juventus and Arsenal are said to be ready to go head to head to capture highly rated Porto left back Alvaro Pereira. Some of Europe's biggest clubs have been linked with the defender this summer but reports in Portugal claims Arsenal and Juventus lead the race. Juventus are said to be willing to offer Porto in excess of £15m for the defender to price Arsenal out of the market after Pereira's superb showing in the Copa America.
