Kym Marsh sex tape is offered to The Sun for the price of £30,000.

The Coronation Street star, who plays Michelle McDonald "is stunned that someone is willing to betray her" after the Sun on Sunday ((19 June) reported that earlier this month it was offered a film showing Kym Marsh performing a sex act on a man and X-rated pictures of her in revealing poses for £30.000.

A source told the tabloid newspaper, which said it declined the offer, that "Kym had absolutely no idea any sex tape existed, let alone that it was in the hands of a person vile enough to attempt to cash in on it".

The 40-year-old actress is said to be "furious, humiliated and very vulnerable. She can't believe that someone could sink so low."

The Source continued: "Kym has done nothing wrong. She will do anything she can to stop these images being made public."

The 57-second video, which is said to be "very explicit", features one of the English actress' former partners but the identity of the man could not be verified.

The mother-of-three came to fame in 2000 when she won TV reality show Popstars with the band Hear'Say alongside Myleene Klass. Marsh left the group in 2002, then married former EastEnders actor Jack Ryder, 33, that year. They split in 2008. Months later she announced she was dating Jamie Lomas, best known as Warren Fox in Hollyoaks. They married in 2012 before divorcing in 2014. The former singer is now dating personal trainer Matt Baker, 24.

The actress recently celebrated a decade on the Coronation Street. According to the Sunday Express, Marsh admitted that she previously thought about quitting the ITV soap, to explore pastures new, but eventually decided not to.

"I thought about it for a long time," she says. "It was obviously a huge decision but I'm happy I decided to stay."
