Manchester United and Roma have made no move for Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita, according to the player's agent.

The Mali international has started just 13 times in La Liga this season and is understood to be considering a move away from the Nou Camp to improve his first-team opportunities.

With Xavi showing no signs of letting up, and Cesc Fabregas and Andres Iniesta at Barca for the long haul, Keita may have no choice but to move on at the end of the season.

Keita might be praying for a move away from Nou Camp come the end of the season.

"After the Copa Del Rey final against Atletico Bilbao I will have a meeting with the club to speak about the future," Pascal Boisseau told Esports Cope.

"At the moment we have not been contacted by any clubs. We have not heard from Milan, Roma or Manchester United, despite what the papers have said.

"Seydou wants to speak with the new coach and to know his plans. He will then be in a position to make a decision on his personal future."

With Tito Vilanova set to take over at Barcelona from Pep Guardiola at the end of the season, it's possible that there could be a break-up of the great squad which won three successive domestic titles and two European Cups in nearly four years.

Keita's limited opportunities during the past two seasons means he could be in line for a departure, however while the player's agent fields enquires from United, it has been Liverpool who have been heavily linked with his services.

The Reds have endured a torrid season under Kenny Dalglish, despite reaching two domestic cup finals, with summer signings Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing failing to sparkle as the club missed out on qualification for the Champions League.

United are likely to revamp their midfield this summer, with the over reliance on Paul Scholes and questions over the long-term fitness of Darren Fletcher a continuing worry.

However, at 32, Keita doesn't represent long-term value for either of the Premier League giants, both of whom are likely to be frugal this summer following respective spending sprees 12 months ago.
