The latest episode of SmackDown Live saw an exciting line-up of matches aired from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on 18 October. The match card saw a fight between AJ Styles and James Ellsworth for the WWE World Championship, while Randy Orton squared off against Luke Harper among others.

Here are the results for 18 October:

AJ Styles vs James Ellsworth (WWE World Championship)

Styles was distracted during the entire match as Dean Ambrose was at ringside as a commentator. In the end, Ellsworth won via disqualification as Styles kept on striking the former in the corner even after the five count. Styles managed to retained his title.

Luke Harper vs Randy Orton

When Harper and Orton were in the middle of their match, Bray Wyatt entered the ring and attacked the Viper. Orton won the match via disqualification.

Heath Slater and Rhyno and Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz and the Spirit Squad

The Miz brutally attacked Ziggler when they squared off as the former was clearly still bitter about losing the Intercontinental Championship to the latter in a Title vs Career match at No Mercy. The Miz and the Spirit Squad (Kenny and Mikey) won the fight via pinfall with a Schoolboy from Kenny to Heath Slater.

Jack Swagger vs Baron Corbin

The fight ended in about a minute as Corbin carried out a vicious attack on Swagger from the word go. Corbin defeated his opponent with End of Days for a win via pinfall.

Alexa Bliss vs Naomi

Naomi controlled much of the fight. However, Bliss surprised her opponent when she jumped off the top rope and carried out the Twisted Bliss for the win via pinfall.
