Sony Mobile Communications seems to be prepping a series of its next Xperia smartphones for 2013. Blog of Mobile, a Japanese blog, reports that Sony's upcoming flagship Xperia smartphones codenamed Odin, Dogo and Yuga are expected to be announced in 2013.

A User Agent Profile (UAProf) that has been leaked shows Odin with a model number C650X. According to Blog of Mobile, UAProf indicates the device could run Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and Sony's 10.1.A.0.XXX firmware.

According to UAProf, the device has been spotted with similar model numbers in C6502, C6503 and C6506. According to Android Authority, "C" in the model number is speculated to be a Cybershot capability that could be featured in the devices. Odin is expected to be released with at least two carrier variants.

In addition to the Odin, Dogo is expected to be announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013, while, the company is expected to unveil both Odin and Yuga at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event 2013. According to reports, Yuga seems to be identical to Odin but might be a variant for a different carrier.

Only a few months are left for major events: CES will held in Las Vegas from 8-11 January 2013, while the MWC has been scheduled for 25-28 February 2013 that will be held in Barcelona.

Sony unveiled new additions to its Xperia NXT series, Xperia P and Xperia U, at MWC 2012, while the Xperia S was unveiled at CES 2012 in Las Vegas.
