Sony's new Xperia Z3+, a premium addition to the Xperia Z3 series with a slimmer and lighter design unveiled last month, is now on pre-order through retail outlets across the UK.

Carphone Warehouse is offering a high-resolution headphone worth £275 for free to those pre-ordering the Xperia Z3+ which starts at £40 on contract with carrier networks such as O2, Vodafone and EE. The retailer is not taking pre-order through its own network, iD.

The new handset will be available in its stores by the 26<sup>th of this month.

As for tariffs, Vodafone is not charging anything upfront; £40 monthly for 24 months with unlimited calls and texts and 2GB 4G data for free.

EE charges £44.99 per month without anything upfront, and includes unlimited calls and texts along with 10GB 4G data.

Those who wish to buy from O2 will have to pay £49.99 as initial payment and then £32.50 a month for two years during which users can enjoy unlimited minutes and texts and 1GB 4G data free. Head over to the product page to know more about the tariffs from different networks.

Those who are looking for SIM-free and unlocked models, there are a number of independent retailers who have started taking pre-orders, with a marginal difference in prices.

While Clove, Expansys and Handtec have set the retail price around £530, Unlocked Mobiles is charging slightly more, at £554.98. Consumers pre-ordering via Clove and Unlocked Mobiles will receive delivery on the 22nd of this month.
