Where to Watch Live
The match is scheduled to begin at 9:30am BST. Live coverage will be available on Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports 3 HD. Real-time internet updates and the live streaming link are available on ATP's official website.
Wawrinka did not have to sweat it out to progress into the quarterfinals as his opponent Nicolas Almagro withdrew from the tournament due to a severe pain in his left foot.
The Swiss No 1 brushed aside whatever little challenge Marin Cilic posed and won, 6-0, 6-2, in the second round on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Raonic sent 11th seed Tommy Robredo packing from the tournament in the third round in straight sets on Thursday. The Canadian won the first set, 6-4, and maintained his momentum in the second winning, 6-3, to clinch his place in the last eight needing 73 minutes to finish the match.
Wawrinka has enjoyed a day's rest and will be fresh for the clash against Raonic. The 2014 Australian Open winner is a favourite to secure a semi-final berth, unless the Monte-Carlo resident can pull off an upset.
The winner of this match will play a Spaniard in the last four as World No 1, Rafael Nadal takes on his compatriot and World No 6, David Ferrer in the other quarterfinals on Friday.
Wawrinka holds a 2-0 lead over Raonic in overall meetings. The pair have never faced each other in a Grand Slam event.
