There's no doubt that Harry Styles is one of the most sharply dressed men in the music industry. And, as the former One Direction star has been sporting numerous eye-catching outfits in recent weeks, fans of the singer have been speculating about the inspiration behind his fashion sense.

Speculations were rife that Cate Blanchett, 48, was the influence behind the 23-year-old singer's fashion sense after Ellen Degeneres showed the Oscar-winning actress split screen photos of Styles and her wearing similar ensembles on her popular talk show last month.

Blanchett, however, is not the one who has inspired Styles to dress the way he has been doing.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Styles revealed that country singer Shania Twain, 52, is the inspiration behind his fashion as well as his music.

"I think both music and fashion, [my] main influence was probably Shania Twain," he told the celebrity news website. "Yeah, I think she's amazing."

Styles is currently at the 2017 ARIA awards, which is taking place at Star Event Centre, Sydney, Australia.

Legendary drummer of Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood, who is also making an appearance at the awards show, recently gushed about Styles, saying the English singer is "talented" and "he's got the real s**t in him."

Mick's bandmate Stevie Nicks also revealed that the drummer and Styles have forged a good relationship.

"When we did the last Fleetwood Mac show on my birthday [May 2015] it was the nicest birthday I'd had in 10 years - Harry styles brought back a cake," she said.

Stevie added, "Mick has kind of adopted him. There are just women in Mick's family and Harry is that tall, lanky musical son he always wanted, so they keep in touch."
