The stars of the music world are gathering in Rotterdam this evening for a night of glamour and great music at the 2016 MTV European Music Awards.

The beautiful people took to the red carpet at the Ahoy Rotterdam in one outlandish sartorial display after another.

Leading the fashion pack and stealing the spotlight from the music stars was British model Jourdan Dunn. The 26-year-old, who is one of the guest presenters, showed off her slender figure in an attention-grabbing chain style dress.

Bare flesh was the order of the day with Elettra Lamborghini embracing the trend in an unforgiving sheer bodysuit decorated with black squares.

Tallia Storm too wore a sheer top embroidered with flowers and a pretty frilled purple mini skirt

Hot-footing it straight from the Strictly ballroom was host Laura Whitmore who opted for a flattering plum dress with sheer panels.
