Kim Kardashian may have managed to break the internet but when it comes to endorsing brands Beyoncé is still Queen, a poll has revealed.

According to the Celebrity Intelligence list revealed at the Festival of Marketing, the Drunk In Love hit maker is the celebrity that most global brands want as an ambassador.

Beyoncé beat competition from other in-demand stars including Rita Ora, Cara Delevingne and Taylor Swift to top the list, which is based on the most searched and viewed this year by 2,500 UK industry professionals.

It comes as no surprise that Jay Z's wife, who has fronted campaigns for L'Oreal, Pepsi and American Express, is a hot commodity for brands hoping to cash in on her fame. Everything she touches turns to gold.

In December 2013 she dropped her surprise self-entitled visual album without any warning or promotion. Within weeks it went platinum and sold more than a million copies.

She was the first female singer to headline Glastonbury and was the 2014 recipient of the coveted MTV Vanguard award.

Earlier this year, she was named the most powerful celebrity by Forbes, proving she indeed rules the roost.
