"I'm really looking forward to it," said Robbie before Smith added, "I'm looking forward to it too, but I don't know what it's going to be character-wise." Margot then said, "We don't know what our characters' relationship is really gonna be [because] it's ever-changing."

Smith continued, praising Suicide Squad director/writer David Ayer: "It's really cool, the way that David Ayer works," said the actor. "It's all images, all ideas, and he holds the screenplay [pretty close] and he just keeps sending you things about your character. He just wants you to be prepared for anything."

After revealing that Harley Quinn and Deadshot will be allies in the movie, both actors admitted that they don't know much about Suicide Squad, yet.

"We're not being secretive, we just actually don't know," said Robbie, as Smith added that "[Ayer] only sends your character's stuff so you don't know what's going on with the other characters; I think he wants it to come alive on set."

Smith and Robbie also revealed that they will start filming for the movie around mid-April. Suicide Squad will release on 5 August, 2016.
