The Afghan-American relationship is at an all-time low following the killings of 16 Afghanistan civilians by the U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales.

The massacre led Afghan President Hamid Karzai to call for an immediate withdrawal of NATO troops from Afghan villages.

The Taliban have vowed to revenge the attack. On March 28, police arrested seven male Taliban militants clad in female outfits from Laghman in the province of Kabul, who were believed to be seeking access to foreign troops.

The arrested insurgents were produced before the media by the Laghman National Directorate Security.
