Police acted quickly to rescue a man trapped in his burning car in Mesquite, Texas on 19 April.

Driver Hector Valles was reportedly unconscious after his car spun out after hitting a guard rail, local media reported.

Mesquite police officers arrived on the scene moments after his car burst in flames. Within seconds, they were able to break the window, open the door and pull Valles out of the vehicle.

On the dashboard camera, the two officers can be heard talking to the driver as they moved him. "Come on man. Stay with us. Stay with us."

Valles, who suffered several injuries in the crash including burns on his legs, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
